The complete work — Drawings
The drawings
Pencil and pen — often as a study for a painting, yet always worked out so far that they stand as works in their own right. Divided into three collections.
About the drawings
Drawing as foundation
Most of Dick Oostra’s drawings serve as preparatory studies for paintings in acrylic or oil — but they are worked out to such a degree that they stand as works of art in their own right. His subjects: landscapes and animals, with the Wadden Sea region as his greatest source of inspiration.
